Dia de los Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead, is a Mexican holiday generally observed Nov. 1 and 2 to coincide with All Souls Day. 

Join the City of Vacaville for our annual Día de los Muertos celebration — a heartfelt tribute to this beautiful and time-honored Mexican tradition. This community event is open to everyone and invites all to come together in remembrance, reflection, and celebration at Andrews Park from 4:00PM - 7:00PM.  This event is free!

Everyone is welcome to attend and participate in this cultural event. Bring family photos to decorate The Dead altar; candles and marigolds will be provided. Enjoy music and folklorico dancers. Food and non-food vendors will be available.

This is an opportunity to honor loved ones with food, drink and celebration.  Stop by the Peña Adobe Historical Society booth as we gather to pay respect and remember the Peña and Vaca family members who settled here in 1841!
