On August 3, 1990, President of the United States George H. W. Bush declared the month of November as Native American Heritage Month. Each November Native people in the United States of America share their culture, traditions, music, crafts and dance.

Come to the Vacaville Town Square Library and make Native American crafts and play Native American games in honor of Native American Heritage Month.
Join the librarians in learning about how to make Native American crafts, such as corn husk dolls and shell necklaces, and play Native American games. Volunteers with the Pena Adobe Historical Society will lead visitors in making these crafts and teaching us how to play games in honor of Native American Heritage month.
