On Monday, Sept 17, 1787 the Constitution for the United States of America was signed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Each year this momentous signing is commemorated on Sept 17th on the little-known Federal Holiday, Constitution Day.

Visit the Peña Adobe Historical Society booth on Saturday, September 20th for a festive and educational day of one of the nation’s most pivotal moments in history at the first annual Constitution Day Celebration, hosted by Solano CDG. Marking the 238th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution, this event will feature live music, guest speakers, local vendors, and educational materials designed to inform and inspire attendees about the nation’s founding principles. There will be a Kid’s Corner, light refreshments, including snow cones, and an exciting raffle to support a youth scholarship program.
